I recently saw them at the glass house in Pomona and it was an incredible experience.

And thank goodness the last song they played was Absinthe Party at the Fly Honey Warehouse, one of my all time favorite songs.

Other than that this week was incredibly fast due to the hectic lifestyle i live it at school. 

If you also enjoy letting your mind roam while listening to music, check out this Yeasayer.  This New York psychedelic group gets my mind drifting every time.  I will be checking them out tonight at the Troubadour.  Ill let yall know how it goes.  

But for now i am glad there is some change in the weather because i do love winter and snowboarding.  Burton did come out with some cool stuff this year so all you junkies out there should check that out.

So this has been an interesting week. 

My birthday was exactly what i wanted, my day. Just went to the gym, hung out, just the same as any other day.  Why do we celebrate getting older? I understand it is happy that we are growing in the sense but if time could stop and we could live in a moment forever it would be amazing.  Just the problem is finding that moment.  I will continue to not worry so much about the future, but more let things fall into my lap.  For as selfish as this sounds, I dont feel the need to constantly going out and getting what i want because i am content with what i have now.  I will make decisions that will affect my future and future decisions, but I do not feel the need to make a big deal about everything going on around me.   

anyways enough of that shit. 

the rest of the week was chill except for a couple of minor cut backs that I feel no need to talk about because they are in the past.  Just learn from your mistakes everyone. 

Last night it was crazy to see a friend that has been away for awhile and fun to see everyone.  Halloween was fun and i enjoyed my costume. 

All in all hope everyone is doing well and they are enjoying themselves and enjoyed their halloween. 

I am at home for the night and it sucks but what are you gonna do

all in all again good weekend.  Now i just want to watch Entourage and it isnt working!!!!

My birthday is tomorrow and i feel the same, and think that i will  feel the same for awhile. 

All i want for my birthday is a tattoo.  I really am content with my life right now, things seem to be going well (knock on wood).  I hope they continue on this path, but i also register for classes next week.  Next semester will suuuuuuuuck.

So i just watched entourage

I think that this season has been a little bit of a bust compared to the last seasons but tonight's episode was depressing and not even funny.  I don't think that i laughed once.  

On a lighter note great weekend.  Old friends and new friends (one in particular) having a great time, what more could i ask for.  Friday was chill, and Saturday was better.  

I know I said i would never name names in this blog, but i have to shout a happy birthday to my two good friends Eric and Kurk.  Can't believe you guys are the big 20, crazy. 

I have been thinking a lot though about what is to come and almost worrying about it but for some reason tonight i thought who cares.  I have been so caught up on what is to come I have not been worrying about the present.  Tonight i finally realized how good things are now, instead of worrying about what could be in the future.  I am going to consider and care more now, even with the unwanted because I might need it one day. 

I came across a quote today that just sealed the deal on my thoughts, a simple line from a simple man Abraham Lincoln.

"The best thing about the future is that it only comes one day at a time"

Late Night

I was trying to think of why i wanted to start this blog. 

Do I want people to see my thoughts?

Do I want to point people out and ridicule them with my anger?

Is my title giving the wrong impression?

And then i realized that i just liked the title and thought it sounded witty. But I also want to make sure to post things that get people thinking by using media, but not to promote any source of good/wrong doing.

I cant promise that i am not going to talk down on people, but i will promise to name no names. 

But i feel this blog is the start of something new. 

It could just be the blog itself, but who knows. 

As for today, USP did their first event and it was just alright. Maybe i thought too highly of myself? 

  

But this would definitely describe the day.
